Quirky things I miss about my mom and grandma.

I can never express how much I miss my mom and grandma. It's funny how I live my life in eras like B.C and A.D when it relates to them. I guess it would be more of B.D (before death) for me.

I miss them with all my heart. But last night, I thought about some of their quirks and that made me have a little giggle fit. For example, my mom loved shoes and she loved other people's shows i.e mine and my grandma's. I remember I left a pair of my red vans over her house. I asked her if they were over there. She said she'll check. A few days later, I picked her up and she was wearing then. I said “MAMA REALLY?!” She said “Ohhh I thought they were nice!”. 😒😒😒 And she continued to sashay around in them.

An example of my grandma is she loved to decorate for every holiday. She had her tree up year round. I KID YOU NOT. Ever seen a St. Patrick's day tree? Yup, she did it. Halloween? Of course. 4th of July? Tiny flags everywhere! It was cute and quirky. But I enjoyed it very much and I miss it.

Moved into a new place? One must have Chinese food take out on the first night. ‘Tis law. They SWORE by this. Not going to lie, the one time I moved into a few place and didn't do this ritual, it was a horrible experience living there.

Do you like Ginger snaps? Well, its probably because you're old or crazy. According, to my grandma. Randomly eating a lot of seafood for no reason? My mom said that means you're pregnant.

I have tons of memories and I'll be here all day long. But I miss them dearly and the quirks keep me going.
